REVEALED: Where Man Utd’s Transfer Funds Are Coming From

By on June 13, 2011

Manchester United’s surprising spending spree is apparently being funded by resources from Qatar.

United are set to tie up deals for Aston Villa’s Ashley Young, Atletico Madrid David de Gea and Blackburn’s Phil Jones. The deals should be in excess of £60million leaving the remaining kitty for Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder. A source in the Daily Star Sunday said:

“United’s transfer business is the talk of the game.

‘‘And the big question is where all this money is coming from, given the level of debt at the club. The level of spending is eye-opening.

‘‘The word is that this is money from Qatar, where the royal family want to buy United from the Glazers.’’

Perhaps it has something to do with the £80 million received for Ronaldo yet to be spent?????????

Sneijder is not enough on his own. Fergie needs to spend money on the likes of either Diarra or De Rossi too, to give United enough depth in midfield. Carrick simply isn’t good enough, and they should cash in on him or keep him on the bench.

This is nonsense. United have well over £100m cash their account. That’s where the money is comming from.

We don’t need to speculate about this, they publish their accounts, we can see where the money comes from and it isn’t Qatar.

I think everyone will agree the ‘funds’ are in Manchester United’s accounts, thats obvious for anybody who can read an account.
The question is how much will be released for improving the team. The ‘million’ pound question if you like. Its a puzzle is it not! lmao
