Tottenham In Talks To Sign Bruno Uvini – Reports
The Daily Mail are reporting that Tottenham are in talks to sign Sao Paulo defender and Arsenal target Bruno Uvini on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
As we enter the final stages of the January transfer window, fans are gearing themselves up for an excited few days.
Tottenham have not been shy in doing last minutes deals in the past and that trend may continue this month, as the Daily Mail are reporting the club are in talks to sign Sao Paulo defender Bruno Uvini.
The report claims that the Brazilian Under 20 international was a summer target for North London rivals Arsenal, while Genoa have also shown interest this month, but the Mail claim it’s Spurs who are now in talks to sign the talented centre back.
It’s said that Harry Redknapp is looking to secure the 20-year-old on loan for the rest of the season with a view to securing a permanent deal if things work out for both parties.
However, the only stumbling block could be securing a work permit as the youngster doesn’t meet the required criteria to qualify, and has yet to even make his debut for the senior national team.
