tottenham news

Tottenham welcome Bolton Wanderers to White Hart Lane on Saturday evening with the two sides battling it out for a place at Wembley in the semi final of the FA Cup.

Bolton were lucky enough to make the semi final stages last season, but were battered 5-0 by Stoke so they will be eager to make up for it this time round.

Tottenham will themselves be keen to end the season with some silverware, after seeing their title challenge ended following three consecutive league defeats. Spurs have form on their side having coming out on top in three of their previous four FA Cup games with the visitors.

Team News

Harry Redknapp is sweating over the fitness of striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who is struggling with a hamstring injury. Brad Freidel is once again likely to be rested for the cup, so Carlo Cudicini will take his place between the sticks.

Aaron Lennon is also a doubt with a hamstring complaint, but Louis Saha and Rafael van der Vaart are likely to be recalled. William Gallas could play his first game in over 2 months, as Redknapp could opt to rest Ledley King for Wednesday’s league game with Stoke.

Michael Dawson will not play again this season after being ruled out with an ankle problem, and he joins long-term injury concerns Tom Huddlestone and Jermain Jenas.

Owen Coyle is likely to be without Chris Eagles who is suffering from a hamstring injury. Defender Marcos Alonso is back in contention though after coming through a reserves game. Striker Marvin Sordell is cup-tied.

Predicted Score

The magic of the FA Cup means you can never truly predict what the outcome is going to be, but the form book will suggest third-placed Tottenham should see off relegation battlers Bolton at White Hart Lane. Tottenham 3-1 Bolton

Just look at the weight Turner has lost at Sunderland one of many in Football. This should tell you no results is a sure thing all because energy drugs are rife. We need Ukad to be present or Bolton will be like Chelsea Arsenal and Everton full of 6th gear.

Davspurs what’s wrong with you? You keep banging on about this energy drug that is rife within football, where is your proof? Put up or simmer down mate because unless you step up and take your findings to the appropriate authorities then you sound stupid.
On to football. This as we know is a cup game and nothing is given but we are capable so I shall plump for the spurs 3~2 lillywhitetilidie.
