Uniteds team has a core of local lads who have been at the club since a very young age. Great to see. Some real potential talent in that team. Bright future for the reds.

City however, no local lads. From everywhere but manc it seems, bit like their first team.

MUFC goalscorers were Will Keane from stockport and Luke Giverin from Salford.

Irony? Stockport isn’t local? Im not sure it would be wise for city fans to claim that, as most of their fanbase would then be deemed as ‘not local’.

Great to see United youth is still a class above city’s. Maybe the city young players know they wont be given a chance in the first team anytime soon so couldn’t be bothered.
