With the summer transfer window in full swing, Football Talk will be keeping you up-to-date with all the latest transfer news throughout the summer. Today, Chelsea appear to have agreed a deal to sign Oscar.
Chelsea have agreed a £25m deal to sign Internacional playmaker Oscar, according to Sky Sports News.
The report claims the Blues have been tracking the Brazilian midfielder for several months but have now beaten off competition from Premier League rivals Tottenham to sign the talented 20-year-old.
Chelsea failed with a previous offer of around £20m for Oscar last week, but Sky Sports News are now reporting that the European Champions have managed to agree a £25m with the Brazilian outfit.
The transfer is now expected to be finalised in the coming days, with the player due to arrive in London on Tuesday for Olympic duty with the Brazilian national team, so will be on hand to complete a medical and discuss personal terms with the club.
Oscar is regarded as one of the finest talents in South America after a string of impressive displays for Internacional. This form has already landed him 6 caps for his country and it now looks to have earned him a big-money move to one of Europe’s elite.
