Man Utd Linked With Bundesliga Midfielder
Premier League giants Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender, and may make a January move for the German ace.
Despite the transfer window being closed, there is always transfer gossip doing the rounds in the papers and we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest news during the coming months. Today, Manchester United are linked with Lars Bender.
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender.
The 23-year-old German international has played exceptionally well for his club and country in recent months and is attracting interest from top European clubs such as Manchester United.
Bayer Munich approached Bayer Leverkusen for the services of the player in the summer, however Leverkusen refused to discuss a deal regarding Bender, claiming he was an important first team player.
United scouts will no doubt continue to monitor the Bundesliga player for some time in order to process his development, although they could look to make a bid in January as Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs look to retire.
