Manchester United are showing an interest in young Brazilian defender Antonio Carlos and have already opened talks with Corinthians over the players availability, according to the Mirror.
The report claims United have been tracking the 19-year-old this season and have already made contact with Corinthians director of football, Edu, over the players potential availability.
The 6 foot 3 inch centre-back initially joined the Corinthians youth team set-up on loan from Audax-SP in 2011 before making the move permanent last summer. He has since broken into the senior set-up and has made 6 first team appearances so far this season with his form seeing the teenager called up to the Brazil under-20 squad where he has been installed as captain.
