[Video Goals] Sheff Utd 2-2 Tottenham: Eriksen Double Sends Spurs To Wembley

Tottenham booked their place in the final of the Capital One Cup final with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Wednesday evening.

Coming into the game holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg, Spurs went 2-0 ahead on aggregate when Christian Eriksen fired home a stunning free-kick in the 28th minute.

Sheffield United got themselves back into the game when Adams made it 1-1 on the night in the 77th minute and the substitute made it 2-2 on aggregate just two minutes later with a deflected strike.

With extra time looming, Harry Kane found Eriksen in the area who cooly slotted home a left-footed finish in the 88th minute to put the visitors 3-2 ahead on aggregate.

United pushed for another goal to force extra time but Tottenham held on to book their place at Wembley where they’ll meet Premier League leaders Chelsea.
