[Teams] Liverpool vs Thai All Stars: Ings & Bogdan Make Debuts

Liverpool are set to kick off their pre-season preparations with a friendly against a Thai All Stars XI in Bangkok this afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers has handed a start to new signing Adam Bogdan with the keeper starting between the sticks for the first time since his free transfer move from Bolton.

Youngster Joe Gomez also starts in defence alongside Kolo Toure, Mamadou Sakho and Andre Wisdom while Lucas Leiva starts in midfield with youngsters Jordan Rossiter and Joao Carlos Teixeira.

Danny Ings makes his debut in attack alongside veteran Rickie Lambert.

James Milner will have to wait to make his debut following his free transfer move from Manchester City as he’s named in the second half XI along with fellow new recruit Nathaniel Clyne.
