4-2-3-1: Mourinho Makes 3 Changes | Expected Man Utd XI vs Newcastle

Manchester United will be looking to cement their position in second place with another win when they take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday.
Here is the team I think Jose Mourinho will pick for the game:
Goalkeeper: David De Gea is certain to keep his place between the sticks once again with Sergio Romero named among the substitutes.
Defence: Phil Jones is back in contention after returning to training having recovered from the illness that kept him out of the win over Huddersfield Town last weekend.
Marcos Rojo could be the man to make way with Chris Smalling keeping his place in the middle of defence while Antonio Valencia is also expected to retain his position at right-back.
Mourinho was full of praise for Luke Shaw at his press conference this afternoon and I think the rejuvenated England international will keep his place at left-back this weekend.
Midfield: Paul Pogba was surprisingly dropped for the win over Huddersfield but the Frenchman should see himself recalled to the starting eleven against Newcastle on Sunday.
Scott McTominay performed well during his rare start last week but the youngster is likely to be the man to make way as Nemanja Matic should keep his place in the middle of the park.

Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera will be hoping to be included in the squad after missing out against Huddersfield.
Attack: We could see Mourinho freshen things up in attack with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford both pushing for recalls but I think the Frenchman will get the nod on the wing.
Juan Mata could drop to the bench as Alexis Sanchez is expected to keep his place after opening his account last weekend having tapped home from a rebound after his penalty was saved.
Jesse Lingard could keep his place in the attacking midfield role with Romelu Lukaku once again leading the line up front. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back in training but the 36-year-old isn’t in contention just yet.
Here is how we think United will line-up:
