Manchester United will look to put their Carabao Cup disappointment behind them when they take on West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday. Here is the line-up I think Jose Mourinho will go with:

Goalkeeper: Sergio Romero was sent off on his first start of the season during the penalty shoot-out defeat to Derby in midweek so he’ll be unavailable for selection this weekend. Lee Grant should therefore act as David De Gea’s back-up with the Spaniard restored between the sticks.

Defence: Mourinho is expected to make wholesale changes in defence with Antonio Valencia set to replace Diogo Dalot at right-back while Luke Shaw could come in for Ashley Young on the left side of the back four.

Eric Bailly will no doubt drop out once again while Phil Jones is expected to make way following his crucial penalty miss against Derby with Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof recalled to the starting eleven.

Midfield: The big question is whether Paul Pogba will be left out following his altercation with Mourinho in training on Thursday. There is clearly animosity between the two men but I still think the United boss will select the Frenchman so I expect Pogba to start against West Ham this weekend.

Nemanja Matic made his return from suspension in midweek and should keep his place in midfield while Marouane Fellaini is expected to be recalled to the side after coming off the bench to score an injury time equaliser against Derby.

That means Fred may drop to the bench this weekend where he’ll be joined by Ander Herrera as I don’t think he did enough on his rare start on Wednesday night to keep his place in the team.

Attack: Marcus Rashford is back after serving a three-match suspension so Mourinho may decide to recall him as the forward should be fresh. Jesse Lingard could therefore drop to the bench after starting the last two matches.

Romelu Lukaku will no doubt keep his place up front once again while Alexis Sanchez could be recalled after being left out in midweek despite the Chilean international struggling for form this season. Juan Mata and Anthony Martial are likely to drop back to the bench.

Here is how we think United will line-up:
