Suarez completed an initial six-month loan move to Arsenal on transfer deadline day and the Gunners can sign the midfielder on a permanent basis in the summer if the move works out for all parties.
The 25-year-old took part in an individual workout at London Colney on Thursday but Suarez has now been training with his new team mates for the first time this afternoon.
Unai Emery has suggested he’s not afraid to throw the Spaniard straight in to action when Arsenal take on Man City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon so Suarez is expected to be in the squad this weekend.
Laurent Koscielny is also set to feature after recovering from a facial injury that kept him out of Arsenal’s win over Cardiff City in midweek while Henrikh Mkhitaryan was back in full training after recovering from a foot injury.
However, Ainsley Maitland-Niles faces a late fitness test after missing the Cardiff game with a knee injury while obviously there was no Sokratis, Rob Holding or Danny Welbeck at training as they’re all out through injury.
