Manchester United are targetting big-money moves for Jadon Sanchez and Aaron Wan-Bissaka as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eyes up to five new signings as part of a huge summer overhaul, according to the Telegraph.

After being confirmed as United’s new permanent manager, Solskjaer is expected to oversee a major squad shake-up over the coming months with a number of experienced players set to leave Old Trafford.

The report claims Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo are all certain to depart after falling out-of-favour under Solskjaer this season while United will also listen to offer for Eric Bailly – who’s struggled to establish himself under the new Man Utd boss.

However, United will only let Bailly leave if they can sign a top class replacement for the Ivory Coast international and the Telegraph claims that Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane and Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly are prime targets.

With Valencia and Darmian both on the way out, United need a new right-back and the newspaper says the Manchester giants are eyeing a swoop for £40m-rated Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka following his impressive season at Selhurst Park.

Manchester United are also expected to be in the market for a new forward as the club looks to offload Alexis Sanchez but that won’t be easy due to his £500,000-a-week wages. The Chilean international still has three years left on his contract so United may need Sanchez to take a pay cut if they’re to get him off the books this summer.

Either way, Solskjaer wants a new attacker and the Telegraph claims that Man Utd are eyeing a stunning move to sign Jadon Sancho but any deal would cost around £100m due to his sensational form for Borussia Dortmund this season.

Ander Herrera and Juan Mata will be out of contract in the summer and neither player is close to signing an extension so United are lining-up potential targets with the newspaper report suggesting Declan Rice and Callum Hudson-Odoi are potential replacements for the Spanish duo.

The Telegraph says Solskjaer is keen to build an ‘English core’ in the squad which is why Sancho, Wan-Bissaka, Rice and Hudson-Odoi are on his radar but the club have also been linked with the likes of Saul Niguez, Joao Felix and Philippe Coutinho.

It’s certainly going to be a busy few months ahead at Old Trafford with several players leaving and up to five new signings arriving as Solskjaer tries to build a squad capable of competing with the likes of Man City and Liverpool for the title next season.
