Kane, Townsend & Paulinho: Spurs Players React On Twitter To COC Win Over Hull
Tottenham beat Hull 8-7 on penalties in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night. Here’s what Andros Townsend, Paulinho and Harry Kane had to say after the game.
Tottenham Hotspur edged into the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup with a dramatic 8-7 shoot-out win over Hull City on Wednesday night at White Hart Lane.
The game finished 2-2 after extra time when goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Harry Kane were cancelled out by a Brad Freidel own goal and a Paul McShane effort to force penalties.
Spurs progressed in a sudden death shoot-out to book a home tie against West Ham in the next phase and after the game, Andros Townsend, Paulinho and Harry Kane all took to Twitter to react to the win over Hull. Here’s what they had to say:
