[Teams] Arsenal vs Man Utd: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on November 22, 2014

Both teams will be looking to get their stuttering seasons back on track when Arsenal entertain Manchester United at the Emirates tonight.

Arsene Wenger welcomes back Olivier Giroud to the squad but the Frenchman is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench. Danny Welbeck has passed a late fitness test to start up front against his old side.

United are without several defenders with Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Jonny Evans all unavailable so Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett start at the back. Luke Shaw passes a late fitness test so starts at left-back. Michael Carrick partners Marouane Fellaini in midfield.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs, Ramsey, Arteta, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Welbeck, Sanchez

Subs: Martinez, Bellerin, Flamini, Rosicky, Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud

Man Utd

De Gea, Valencia, McNair, Smalling, Blackett, Shaw, Carrick, Fellain, Rooney, Van Persie, Di Maria.

Subs: Lindegaard, Fletcher, Herrera, Young, Mata, Januzaj, Wilson.

Whats your predicted score now we’ve seen the teams?

good to go for man utd… I would’ve prefer to see Herrera in the midfield and seeing Wayne Rooney as Lone striker. RVP should’ve come on from the Bench.
