Some of the Manchester United players have been celebrating on Twitter after the Red Devils gave their top four chances a major boost with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
United got off to the perfect start when Palace defender Damien Delaney put through his own net in the fourth minute before Matteo Darmian sealed the win with a stunner from the edge of the area shortly after half-time [watch the goals here].
It was the Italian international’s first goal for the club and it helped secure a vital victory which sees United move to within just one point of fourth-placed Arsenal ahead of their clash for West Brom tonight.
After the game, several of the United players have taken to Twitter to celebrate the win with Ander Herrera, Chris Smalling, Juan Mata, Morgan Schneiderlin, Ashley Young, Daley Blind and Bastian Schweinsteiger all posting photos and messages to their followers.
