Dele Alli will also miss the match as he serves the second of a three-match ban following his violent conduct charge for a punch on Claudio Yacob two weeks ago.

With Nabil Bentaleb still out with a knee injury, Ryan Mason should start in midfield while Nacer Chadli is pushing for a start in attack.

Southampton arrive in the capital boasting a fully-fit squad to choose from. Graziano Pelle will be hoping to return to the squad after being dropped for last week’s win over Man City following a poor showing in training.
