Brazilian Attacker Hints At Move Amid Interest From Arsenal, Chelsea & Tottenham
Watford attacker Richarlison has hinted he could be tempted by a big-money move amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham
The transfer window is closed but managers are working hard on their plans for the summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Richarlison speaks out on his future…
Watford attacker Richarlison has hinted he could be tempted by a big-money move amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, according to the Mirror.
Richarlison joined Watford in an £11.5m move from Fluminense last summer and enjoyed an excellent start to life in the Premier League after providing 5 goals and 5 assists during his first 13 appearances.
The goals have since dried up since but that impressive early season form attracted interest from the upper echelons of the division with the Mirror claiming that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been showing a keen interest in the attacker.
Arsene Wenger is under pressure to revamp his squad following a disastrous campaign and the Gunners need to add some width to their side so Richarlison could be viewed as a possible target.
Tottenham are also expected to further strengthen their squad this summer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add to his talented young team and Richarlison would provide competition for the likes of Hueng-min Son and Christian Eriksen.
Chelsea may be in the market for another attacker amid on-going speculation over the future of Willian and it seems the Blues are also keeping a close eye on Richarlison’s situation.
The 20-year-old has now spoken out on his future and says that if he plays well for Watford, a big-money offer will come his way and he admitted he wants to play in the Champions League.
Richarlison is quoted as saying by the Mirror:
“Look, everybody wants financial security for their family, and when a player says otherwise, he’s lying. If I play at a really high level, opportunities will come my way.
“But right now my mind is focused on Watford. I will raise my level. I think about playing in the Champions League and being the top scorer in the Premier League.”
It’s clear Richarlison has ambitions to play at a higher level and no doubt he’d be tempted if the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham come calling for his services this summer.

However, he’s under contract at Vicarage Road until 2022 and he’ll have to step-up his recent form if he’s to persuade the top clubs to formalise their interest in him any time soon.
