Another enthralling Premier League season is on the horizon and we’re going to take a look at the early favourites to finish in the top four.

Manchester City reclaimed their title – finishing just one point ahead of Liverpool – and the duo are expected to battle it out once again this coming campaign. Pep Guardiola’s side have been formidable over the past couple of years and it’s virtually impossible to see them missing out on the top four next season. In fact, some bookmakers are offering just 1/50 on City securing a top four spot.

Liverpool finished a whopping 25 points clear of third place last season as the top two ran away with it so it would take a monumental collapse for the Reds to miss out on the top four next year. Jurgen Klopp has built a superb side at Anfield and they’ll be pushing to win the title rather than worry about finishing higher than fifth.

With two of the four places virtually guaranteed before a ball is even kicked, it means there are just two places up for grabs and four teams will be vying for the remaining Champions League qualification spots; Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United.

United endured a tough campaign as they finished sixth last season but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are being backed by the bookies to return to the top four next year. Some bookmakers have United as the 10/11 fourth favourites to finish in the top four positions but check out TurboLuck for reviews of the best betting company’s before placing any bets.

Tottenham just edged out Arsenal to finish fourth last season but Mauricio Pochettino is making moves in the market as they’re closing in on the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Jack Clarke and Ryan Sessegnon so they’ll be stronger next season. A top four place is expected with bookies offering 4/6 on Spurs coming in the top four.

Chelsea finished third last season but they’ve had a difficult summer as they’ve lost star player Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and Maurizio Sarri has left to manage Juventus. Add to that they are serving a transfer ban it could be a tough season for the Blues next year so it’s no surprise 1xBet have Chelsea as 5/6 fifth favourites to finish in the top four.

Arsenal blew their chances of returning to the Champions League last season following a disastrous end to the campaign and Unai Emery will struggle to vastly improve his squad as he’s working on a tight budget this summer. The bookies don’t fancy Arsenal to be challenging next year as they are the 11/8 sixth favourites to claim a top four place.

If the bookmakers are to be believed then the Premier League will finish Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Man Utd, Chelsea and then Arsenal next season but a lot will change over the coming weeks and months so it’s still all to play for.
