Pep Guardiola has opted to start Joao Cancelo ahead of Kyle Walker at right-back while Benjamin Mendy starts on the opposite side of the defence with Angelino on the bench. John Stones starts alongside Fernandinho in defence with Nicolas Otamendi among the subs.
Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling support Sergio Aguero in the Man City attack meaning Gabriel Jesus has to settle for a place on the bench. Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne line-up in midfield for the hosts.
Frank Lampard has recalled Cesar Azpilicueta at right-back while Emerson starts ahead of Marcos Alonso on the left. Christian Pulisic is fit to start in the Chelsea attack along with Willian and Tammy Abraham.
Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante and Jorginho start in midfield so Mason Mount has to settle for a sub role this evening and he’s joined on the bench by Pedro and Michy Batshuyi.
