[VIDEO GOALS] Wolves 3-3 Tottenham: Defoe’s Stunning Brace Not Enough For Spurs
Tottenham and Wolves played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in a game that had everything and was a fitting tribute to former player Dean Richards. Kevin Doyle gave the home side the lead with a fine header before Defoe levelled things with a stunning strike. The England striker was at it again to put Spurs ahead, as he curled home from 20-yards. Wolves were then awarded a penalty after Hutton brought down Milijas in the area but no red card was shown, Doyle made no mistake from the spot to make it 2-2. Payyluchenko then got in on the action with a great strike of his own to make it 2-3, and with only 8 minutes left Wolves thought they had drawn level through Sherman when the defender got in ahead of Gomes from a free-kick to head home but the ref blew up for a free-kick. The home side did however draw level only minutes later when Fletcher headed home at the far post to make it 3-3. Watch the goals below…
