Spence, Palhinha, Simons and Kolo Muani return: Predicted Tottenham Hotspur XI vs Bournemouth
Tottenham Hotspur’s quest for their first win of 2026 continues as they travel to the south coast of England to face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on matchday 21 of the Premier League at 19:30 local time tonight.
Failure to win again is set to see Thomas Frank come under greater pressure as the season enters its most decisive phase, so with the team and the manager facing a race against time, it is vital that they clinch a win on the road this time out.
Here is a look at their potential starting eleven.
Goalkeeper – Guglielmo Vicario is likely to retain his place in between the sticks for Tottenham.
Defenders – Pedro Porro is the favourite to start at right back once more, but a change is in prospect on the left side of the back four with Djed Spence potentially replacing Ben Davies. Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, meanwhile, are expected to retain their places in the middle of the backline for the visitors.
Kolo Muani to replace Kudus
Midfielders – Archie Gray might drop out of the team for the Bournemouth game as Thomas Frank might prefer a more physical option in midfield, therefore opening the door for Joao Palhinha to return to the fore. The Portuguese midfielder is expected to partner with Rodrigo Bentancur in the double pivot. Xavi Simons could replace Wilson Odobert as the number 10.
Mohammed Kudus is injured, so Randal Kolo Muani might start instead on the right wing although he will be given the freedom to play closer to goal. There’s no change on the cards on the left with Mathys Tel in contention for a starting role.
Forward – Richarlison is set to lead the line once more for the Lilywhites.
