Arsenal Transfer News: Clichy, Benzema, Alvarez, Hazard, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jenkinson & More…
Another day of transfer gossip and news surrounding the Gunners, first we start up with the players leaving rumors.
Gael Clichy
An “exclusive” report by Goal.com, states that French international left-back Gael Clichy has refused a new contract and will leave in the summer transfer window. German and Italian giants, Bayern Munich and Inter, are reportedly after him and he’s reportedly worth 8.5 million pounds, all I can say is, if true….. farewell Clichy.

Marouane Chamakh
Chamakh has been rumored to have thoughts of leaving the Gunners, after a tough first year. French giants Olympique Marseille were heavily linked with the Moroccan international and a reported offer of around 9 million pounds was mooted. However, in another report by the popular Goal.com, Chamakh states that the “reports are false and that the only French team I’ll go to, is back with Bordeaux.” I think this is good news, as I believe Chamakh is still a very useful asset for the Gunners, and that he’ll be even better next season.

There are rumors and reports of players joining and being linked with the Gunners:
Carl Jenkinson
The Finnish FA have all but confirmed the deal of Carl Jenkinson joining the Gunners, on a Bosman transfer from Charlton with compensation reported at around 1 million pounds. He’s a 19 year old right back, who decided to choose his birth nation Finland over England, he’s said to have a bright future and I think it’s a good acquisition by the Gunners.

If you want to check out and get a better view of his talents, check out this video of his performance against Notts County…. there aren’t many videos of him, but hopefully it will give you a better idea:
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
There is news coming from reliable source and blog, We are the North Bank, stating that Wenger and the Gunners have re-opened talks with Southampton over the acquisition of the 18 year old talent. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been linked with the Gunners, especially after talks failed during the winter transfer window. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a talented winger/midfielder, who’s blessed with pace and skills, his transfer will be around 10 million pounds if it happens.

If you want to take a better look at this player’s talents, check out these two videos:
Eden Hazard
Reports are suggesting that Hazard has decided to stay at Lille this season, a “source close to the player” told TalkSport that Hazard “has a contract till 2015 and now Champions League football, everything points out towards staying.” Looks like we missed out on this wonderkid, but there is still months left to go to until the transfer window….. it hasn’t even started yet.

I think you already know about this guy’s talents already, but why not take another look, enjoy:
Karim Benzema
Well, this link will delight all Gooners as Wenger hinted of making a bid for French international Karim Benzema, the source comes from The Mirror, with Wenger stating that a bid for Benzema “does not seem impossible.” Benzema is a quality player and will be a great transfer, but will Real Madrid and Mourinho let go of him?

I know, just like with Hazard, you readers and fellow Gooners, have a good idea of the talents of Benzema, but again, why not have another look:
Update on Ricardo Alvarez:
According to Goal.com, a source from his club, Velez Sarsfield, has confirmed that no deal has been made, but the Gunners are interested in him, and that it would take an excellent offer to prize him away.
