TRANSFER NEWS: Tottenham, Arsenal, United & Chelsea In The News…
Dimitar Berbatov offered back to Tottenham
So we’re starting today with a story from Metro, and it’s a story about Dimitar Berbatov potentially moving back to White Hart Lane. Apparently, it was the last straw for the Bulgarian after Manchester United left him out of the squad for their Champions League final against Barcelona, a game that he very much wanted to be a part of.
The north Londoners are in the market for a striker this summer and would consider bringing Berbatov back – but only if United’s price was right.
That could mean manager Harry Redknapp thrashing out a cut-price deal worth just £10million, given Berbatov will be out of contract next summer.

So, 10 million pounds for the Premier League’s golden boot winner? Well, doesn’t sound right exactly, but I guess that’s what you get for a low work rate.
Chelsea in it for Pep
Pep Guardiola, that is. Guardiola is a wanted man in London, as Abramovic seeks a manager to replace Carlo Ancelotti. After his night of glory at Wembley, there are still some rumours remaining that he isn’t going to extend his contract at the Nou Camp, prompting the approach by Abramovic.
Even though Guardiola has signed a 12-month extension to his current contract with Barcelona, rumours are rife that his head is being turned by Chelsea’s interest.
Arsenal ready to pounce on Chelsea Man
Arsenal are reportedly waiting to pounce on Chelsea’s unsettled winger Salomon Kalou. Kalou is apparently waiting on the decision of who will take to the helm at Stamford Bridge to make his decision in the summer. The Metro reports that Arsenal’s interest is growing and they are monitoring the situation. Arsenal made a previous attempt at trying to sign Kalou two years ago.
