Liverpool to try and make double Sunderland Swoop
According to The Daily Telegraph, it looks as though Liverpool are set to look to Sunderland players Jordan Henderson and Lee Cattermole. Apparently, Liverpool FC are ‘keen to bolster his midfield with young English talent’, and is therefore sniffing around Lee Cattermole and Jordan Henderson’.
Well, will the move actually happen? I’m not sure about this one, but as a Liverpool fan myself, I am excited by the prospect of young Jordan Henderson signing for us. A youngster with a good shot, I certainly hope that he will give our midfield an added dimension.
The Deal We Stopped Caring About: The Fabregas transfer saga
Here’s the latest scoop on the Cesc Fabregas transfer saga, and the question remains whether he will move to Barcelona or Real Madrid…. Or perhaps even staying at Arsenal next season.
The Sun claims that whoever wants to sign the Spaniard will have to bulk up a mammoth 54 million pounds to get their man. Another development about this is that apparently a ‘source from Real Madrid’ has claimed that:
“The president Florentino Perez has identified Fabregas as the one signing above all others to hurt Barcelona.
He believes signing Fabregas would be a real statement of intent for next season. He will do whatever is needed to put the club back above Barca.”
Dad Pleads Arsenal to sign his son
The father of Southampton’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has urged his son to join Arsenal, telling The Daily Mail that he desperately wants Arsene Wenger to snap up his son quickly.
The former England International is convinced that his son will develop best among the Gunners players, with Arsenal developing a reputation of nurturing the young and turning them into quality players in recent years.
