Either Way Samir Nasri Is The Beacon & The One Who Is Right…

By on June 14, 2011

Now as most of you Gooners already know Sami has come out with some comments on Twitter in which the player has clearly requested us not to believe what the papers say. Now to some this may come as a relief but to me, I really don’t see the change his comments have made. What he has said we are all, or we should all, be aware of. We should know that newspapers run numerous faulty stories, some touching the borders of sheer insanity just to get readers. So its obvious that we must not believe them.

Our transfer season has not been going the way we want has it? I know its the beginning but right now as we witness other top clubs sign players we are the ones who feel left behind. Jones and Young to United, and Henderson to Liverpool (for outrageous sums mind you ! ) Wonder what Chelsea are going to do…

But coming to matters that concern us, lets talk about one of Arsenal players last season. Samir Nasri.

Here is why I feel Nasri is not signing a new contract with the club:

Nasri in my opinion is the one who is taking stand and calling the shots. He knows he is a crucial member of Arsenal Football Club. And he knows that when he puts pen to paper he is tied to the club and has to zip it. Right now, he is playing the sensible guys role. The dual character at this moment. He will not mind the money, and at the same time he wants the club to show some intent in the transfer market. As players of a club of this stature everyone wants to win, and win trophies. They want to be successful, and to do that you need quality. Sam wants the club to sign some players who have quality and can lead the club to success. Once the club shows intent I am sure he is going to sign a new contract.

Personally I fee that Sam ‘cares for the club’ otherwise it’s obvious that he would choose any other club as they are most likely to meet his wage demands. Sami, is the lone beacon for us Gooners amidst all this transfer speculations.

OTHER TRANSFER NEWS :

Now as I hear from a few reports we have apparently managed to sign Gervinho and Alex Chamberlain. Hmmm…although quite interesting I have no idea whether these reports are true or not. All I know is if its an Arsenal transfer there has to be some french connection, so as it stands I think there is more truth in the former than the latter.

Cheers,

true word, Nasri is a winner and cess is a winner .i myself was a footballer and i could easily identify the worthless ones and sometimes i wish i had more clinical players who could convert those chances i created.I back nasri 100% for waiting and seeing. It may seemed as he is disloyal but not true. The name Arsenal means something special to him, not a walk over but true champions

Nasri is a winner? What, pray, has he ever won? He’s done sweet fa since coming to Arsenal apart from the first half of last season, and in January he shrunk up like a wilting flower. Now he has the audacity to hold Arsenal to ransom? He wants money on par with what Cesc makes (who IS a winner), despite his performances never approaching the consistent brilliance of Fabregas’. I swear, some people won’t be happy until Arsenal become Chelsea or City, and we’re left with nonsensical blog posts like this one.

“Sami, is the lone beacon for us Gooners amidst all this transfer speculations”

What else was Sami gonna say….”I just want more money….” He is not the Messiah….he’s just a naughty (Greedy) boy who when push came to shove at the end of the year just didnt do enough to justify Cesc level wages…..quite frankly in the second half he went missing!

every fan shares the same concern as nasri we want to win thropies but the only person who pretends to understand but really donot understand is the manager.otherwise if the board doesnot share his views he shd give the board the sack by walking away.instead he made all the excuses over n over again like a broken record.i say sack the manager n get some one who has the desires to win win win,

To all Arsenal fans who question wenger. You are all foolish, ungrateful idiots.
He has transformed u from the most boring team in the country, built your stadium (good cash management), and has won countless trophies that you had no right to win.
I will be well n truly screwed if he shares my opinion and decides to leave.
Wenger keeps u in the top 4 year after year.
Why do arsenal fans think they should win the league?
No other manager, could keep you close to Utd or Chelsea.

    Another, pointless post.

And all this AW bashing is just idiotic. Kev, you are spot on.

Sad that as fans we are calling each other silly names. We love AW – fact. Other facts are Arsenal has not won for 6 years. Good players earn +100k a week today…normal! Arsenal have more developing players than established! Loyalty to a club is earned & unstilled. For all AW has done, I love Arsenal more than AW! The shortfalls are obvious to all but AW. Ideally he makes significant changes or leaves quite frankly!

People question Nasri’s loyalty to the club but for the second summer running our club CAPITAN has done the same and every one is silent about that. Shouldnt Fabregas be the one to stay loyal (since he hasnt won trophies)and win something insted of forcing a move to Barcelona an as a conseques creating this domino effect??? In my opinion the only thing that’s stopping us from winning is strong leadership at the hardest times. Can Fabregas (predited a defict agaist Chelsea last season when we were in poor run of forn an ofcouse we lost)or Gallas(needs no explaining)be compared to Henry or Viera…??? Well tha’s why its been 6 season…

Nasri is a world class player, he deserves a world class salary and world class players aroud him. I dont agree the way in which hes made it public and fail to dismiss man u rumors but why should he play with the likes of Bendtner, Denilson, Almunia, Squilachi an be happy with it? He wants inprovement. WHY on earth did Arsene wait until his last year of contract to renew him??? Was he thinking to relese him??? Or is it Arsene whos stingy by risking one of our top player to save the money of the pay rise???and if so where is the money???

The most important thing in life is to always not put people to too much thoughts, rest you make the faithful ones develop sickness

Nasri is that a player that every club world over will crave for despite the respect that other clubs put to other clubs’ players sake for Barca.

Nasri will definately stay if signings have been made and surely Wenger ought to understand the plight of the fans and he brings the yester bones just as it was during the times of Vierra and company, such were hard guys and Arsenal was a beacon.

I personally would like Fabregas to go for reasons being that he was a nobody before he joined us, he is someone and he cannot value our contribution. Am sure Sagna and Arshavin are not stupid to allege certain facts.

My appeal is that let Wenger sell the devil and buys almost two equivalents with the money and we shall be there were he thinks we cant be.

Lets guys support Wenger’s cause, we still trust in Him, lol
