Chelsea captain John Terry has aggravated a knee injury and could be out of action for up to two months, according to Sky Sports News.
The defender has been struggling with the knee injury in recent weeks and it was hoped he could take part against Napoli tonight. But after a light training session on Monday, Sky Sports claim Terry woke on Tuesday morning with severe pain in his right knee and will now undergo a small operation to solve the problem and could be sidelined for 6-8 weeks.
Terry will now miss tonights crucial Champions League encounter with Napoli as well as several important Premier League fixtures as the Blues battle to maintain their Champions League status for next season, with the Blues currently sitting in fifth place int he Premier League table.
