Here we have a leaked picture of Liverpool’s apparent new third kit for the 2012/13 season. It’s absolutely disgusting, take a look and judge for yourself here
Is this Liverpool’s new third kit for the 2012/13 season? Surely it can’t be?! This image has been ‘leaked’ on the net recently with the likes of talkSPORT reporting on it, but the original image shown above came from Who Ate All The Pies, who claim it’s 99% accurate.
The kit is absolutely disgusting, and is no doubt the worst I’ve seen in recent memory. The purple and mustard combo is painful to the eyes, but it’s the patterned sleeves that really take this kit to another level.

Load of rubbish this image is. A clear fake! Simply took the home it design and changed the colours around. This desing has been floating around since the Warrior deal was signed, and seeing as the other “fanatasy” kits were far from the final design, one can only assume the same for this pile of tripe. YNWA!!!!!

The original report from “Who Ate All The Pies” explicitly calls the photo a “digital mock-up”. In all likelihood, the image is a photoshop of the home kit designed to resemble what the actual kit is believed to be before it’s officially unveiled.
Given that rumors of a kit looking this bad have been floating since April, however, I think there might be some truth here.

no mate i don’t think it’s entirely a fake because everyone who has posted the 3rd kit on various websites have all been purple with the same grey silver pattern on the shoulders and the only thing that’s different in most of them are the collars, so yes we are going to have a hideous 3rd kit to go with our away kit and some would say home kit lol

this is true, but until Stevie G and other players are photographed in these purple kits, they’ll remain fantasy kits. Purple has never been used before in any of Liverpools previous alternate kits except for the keepers kit.
