Arsenal blew a 2-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Schalke on Tuesday night to leave their qualification hopes hanging in the balance.
Theo Walcott gave us the lead on 18 minutes when he bundled the ball home after Giroud was put through. The big Frenchman then got himself on the score-sheet with a well taken header from an excellent Lukas Podolski cross after 26 minutes.
However, with half time less than 30 seconds away Santi Cazorla lost possession in the middle of the park which lead to Huntelaar firing home for 2-1. You just knew the home side would get a leveller and sure enough Farfan was on hand to fire home via Thomas Vermaelen at the far post in the 67th minute. Theo Walcott wasted a golden opportunity to nick a winner but fluffed his lines when put through in the final minute.
The draw leaves Arsenal sitting second in Group B, one point behind Schalke, but Olympiakos are just one point behind the Gunners after beating Montpellier 3-1. Watch video highlights from the Arsenal game here:
