Brazilian Youngster Heading To Arsenal For Trial
Arsenal have handed a week-long trial to exciting Brazilian youngster Indio ahead of a potential permanent move to north London, according to Sky Sports News.
Despite the transfer window now being closed there will still be plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers, so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Arsenal have taken a Brazilian youngster on trial.
Arsenal have handed a week-long trial to exciting Brazilian youngster Indio ahead of a potential permanent move to north London, according to Sky Sports News.
The report claims the highly-rated teenager is set to undergo a week trial with us in order to help boss Arsene Wenger decide whether to push through with a permanent deal that would see the midfielder move when he turns 18 on the 28th February 2014.
Indio currently plays for Brazilian outfit Vasco da Gama but has expressed his excitement at coming to Arsenal and wants to learn and make a good impression to try and earn himself a move to Europe. The 16-year-old is quoted as saying by Sky Sports:
“I’m anxious for this new stage in my life,”
“I’ll spend a week at Arsenal. It will be cool, I hope I enjoy it.
“Of course I have the dream of playing for a European club, but everything has its right time. It will be a good experience. I want to learn.”
One player Indio is looking forward to training alongside is Gunners Theo Walcott, claiming he likes the pacey forward’s style of play:
“I like him a lot. His style of play is very fast, which pleases me.” Indio added

While Arsenal fans may be hoping for more established names to come through the doors at the Emirates, it’s important to plan for the future and we should always to looking to sign the most talented youngsters in the world. If Indio is going to become the ‘next Neymar’ then we need to ensure we’re well placed to sign him up before his price-tag is £20m+.
