Well known TV personality Davina McCall has been taking part in a gruelling challenge over the past week for Sport Relief and with football the biggest and most popular sport in the UK, it’s important we show our support for this great cause.

Davina kicked off the BT Sport Relief ChallengeDavina – Beyond Breaking Point‘ in Edinburgh last Saturday and has been running, swimming and cycling her way down the UK over the past six days with the finish scheduled in London on Friday 14th.

The 46-year-old has shown exceptional courage to take on this 500 mile trip where she will have spent over 47 hours cycling, burned an incredible 10,000 calories each day and conquered her life-long fear of swimming in open water, as well as battled against some of the worst weather this country has seen in recent in decades!

You will also have made a small contribution as during this time, BT will donate 10p to Sport Relief for every call made to the Speaking Clock from a BT land line.

It’s also time to catch up with old friends or family as today, Thursday 13th, has been declared as ‘Dial for Davina day’ where BT will donate 1p to Sport Relief from EVERY call made from a BT land line or business line.

It really is a great cause as not only does Sport Relief money give people in underprivileged countries the chance of a better life, but it also goes to help people here in the United Kingdom.
