Tottenham Hotspurs opening Premier League fixture against Everton has been postponed due to the recent riots in and around the Tottenham area.
Premier League officials made the decision this morning and Tottenham’s official website stated the reason behind the postponement as being:
“due to safety concerns relating to infrastructure of the High Road and access to the stadium caused by last Saturday’s riots.”
It is not yet known when the game will now be played.
