[Video Goals] England 2-0 Estonia: Walcott & Sterling On Target For Three Lions

By on October 9, 2015

England maintained their 100% qualifying record with a 2-0 victory over Estonia at Wembley on Friday night.

With half-time looming and Estonia holding firm, the hosts finally broke the deadlock when Everton midfielder Ross Barkley found Theo Walcott with a lovely ball and the Arsenal attacker made no mistake to make it 1-0 at the break.

England continued to dominate throughout the second half but were made to wait until the 85th minute to secure the three points when Jamie Vardy set-up Raheem Sterling to tap home a late second.

Having already qualified for next summer’s European Championships, the victory ensures Roy Hodgson’s men maintain their 100% record in the group stages after making it nine wins from nine games.

They’ll now head into Monday’s clash with Lithuania looking to make it a perfect 10/10.
