Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has stressed the need for new signings and has claimed he knows the players he wants.
Tottenham have been very quiet in the transfer window so far, and have spent the majority of the summer trying to keep hold of star Luka Modric. However, Redknapp has claimed there is no better way to persuade the Croatian to stay than show the clubs ambition and sign some fresh faces and improve the squad.
“We need one or two more players. We need some characters.
“We’ve got good footballers but we just lack a spine to the team. I know who we need and if the chairman can help me bring them in we’ll be fine.”
