Arsenal vs Marseille: Preview & Predicted Line-up

By  Published: 31st October 2011

We take on Marseille tomorrow evening at the Emirates stadium. This past week has been great and capping it off by beating the French side will make it even better. If we do win we reach the magical 10-points total and that number will certainly get us into knockout stage of the Champions League.

Arshavin should get a run out after missing the Chelsea game. Benayoun may get the nod as well ahead of Ramsey who may not be risked. I feel the Professor will give a rest to his wingers after Saturday’s game. Our back line looks sound with the return of the Verminator, but its going to be interesting to see who plays where (at the back).

Probable Line-up:

261520 Arsenal

Final thoughts:

This game will not be a walk in the park. It took us more than 90 mins to get a goal past Marseille in the away leg so don’t expect goals galore this time around. I do feel with our own run we are favourites and can get the required 3 points but because its football anything can happen. I hope the team keeps a clean sheet as this will boost the confidence of the defense, who in reality need it!
