Borussia Monchengladbach’s director of sport Max Eberl has insisted that the club are not interested in selling Marco Reus, amid interest from the Premier League.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has been in stunning form this season scoring 11 times in just 16 games and that form has seen him break into the German national team set up.

Arsenal and Chelsea have been credited with interest in recent months with both thought to have sent scouts to run the rule over the player. The London rivals are thought to be considering a move with Reus valued at around £14m, but Max Eberl has warned off any potential suitors, claiming they are not interested in selling their prized asset any time soon.

“We have not received any enquiries and there would be no point in any arriving because we want to keep hold of the lad for a long time,” said Eberl.
