Arsenal & Tottenham Fans React To Spurs 2-2 Draw At White Hart Lane

By on April 7, 2013

Tottenham dropped two valuable points in the race for the top-four as Everton held them to a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon.

The pressure was on Andre Villas-Boas’ side following Arsenal’s 2-1 win over West Brom on Saturday but they needed a late strike from Gylfi Sigurdsson to salvage a point after Phil Jagielka and Kevin Mirallas had cancelled out Emmanuel Adebayor’s early strike.

The draw sees Spurs drop to fourth on goal difference after Chelsea beat Sunderland 2-1 at Stamford Bridge but rivals Arsenal are now just two points behind with a game in hand.

As usual, Twitter was filled with a mixture of reactions after the game; here are some of the Tweets from Tottenham fans after the final whistle.

While Spurs supporters may have been left ruing the result, Arsenal fans were delighted by their rivals dropping points with some feeling the draw was the best possible result given the fact Everton are now right in the mix for a top-four finish:
