[Photo] Tottenham Players Celebrate In Dressing Room After Beating Arsenal

By on February 7, 2015

Tottenham Hotspur came from a goal down to beat rivals Arsenal 2-1 at White Hart Lane in a hotly-contested North London Derby this afternoon.

The Gunners took an early lead when Mesut Ozil volleyed past Hugo Lloris in the 11th minute before Harry Kane swept home at the far post to make it 1-1 shortly after half-time.

The hosts pushed for a late winner and they eventually found a way through when that man Kane headed home a superb Christian Eriksen cross to sent the Lane wild.

The victory sees Tottenham leapfrog Arsenal in to fifth spot in the Premier League table and put them firmly in the chase for Champions League qualification this season.

The players were ecstatic at the final whistle and it looks as though those celebrations carried-on in to the dressing room as Nabil Bentaleb has uploaded a photo to Twitter of him along with goal-scoring hero Kane and midfield partner Ryan Mason.

The midfielder posted an accompanying message praising Tottenham’s performance and saying the home fans were ‘unbelievable’. Check out his post here:

Be interesting to see if the Spurs players get slated like arsenal players always do when they celebrate a win I doubt it!

No. We only do DVD’s when we win over Chelsea, because winning against arsenal isnt that big as winning against Chelsea.

@ the author: It was Bentaleb who crossed for Kane’s winner, not Eriksen.

Such nasty little people are some AFC supporters. No grace , no honour, no concept of fair play: just a bag of pus waiting to pour and onto whom? The club they cheated and displaced via bribery while the club they support has never earned the right to be in the PL.

Massive lolz at goons on here being all bitter!! Just accept that on the day you were played off the park. When you win, the likes of Wiltshire and your 2 bob polish GK are all over twitter giving it all that….but that’s ok yeah? Mind the gap? The days of that are long gone as it’s been a point or two for the last few seasons. The fact that you measure your season by us shows how small minded you are.
