Everton vs Man Utd Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Predicted Score
Man Utd take on Everton in their FA Cup semi-final on Saturday. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, betting tips and predicted score for the game
Manchester United will look to book their place in the final of the FA Cup when they take on Everton at Wembley on Saturday evening.
United warmed up for the game in perfect style after cruising to a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Wednesday night with Matteo Darmian sealing the win with a fine goal shortly after half time.
The win saw United remain in the hunt for the top four but Louis van Gaal’s men will now turn their attention to FA Cup matters as they look to take a huge step towards winning the trophy for the first time since 2004.
In contrast, Everton’s preparations for the game couldn’t have gone much worse after they were thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool in midweek so the pressure is firmly on Roberto Martinez’s shoulders heading to Wembley.

Team news
United have been handed a major injury boost with Chris Smalling declaring himself fit despite picking up a minor knock against Palace in midweek.
However, Bastian Schweinsteiger is unlikely to play again this season due to a knee ligament injury while Adnan Januzaj is also struggling for fitness.
Luke Shaw has stepped up his recovery from a broken leg in recent weeks after working with the clubs physios but he’s still some way off being in contention.
As for Everton, they have plenty of injury concerns in defence with Seamus Coleman ruled out with a hamstring injury that he picked up last weekend.
John Stones will face a late fitness test after going off against Liverpool in midweek but Martinez is hopeful the youngster will make it while Garry Barry should also be fit despite carrying a minor groin problem.
However, Phil Jagielka is unlikely to return in time as he continues to work his way back to fitness following a hamstring injury and Funes Mori is suspended after being dismissed at Anfield in midweek.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
Everton 1-2 Man Utd: United are certainly the in-form team of the two clubs as Everton look in complete disarray right now. If Stones and Barry are passed fit to start they have a fighting chance of making this competitive, but even with them I still think United will have too much and will book their place in the final.
Betting Tips
Man Utd are the even money favourites but Football-Talk can get you enhanced odds of 7/1 on a United win – just click here to take advantage of this limited time offer. My prediction of 2-1 is available at odds of 8/1 while I also like the look of Rashford to open the scoring at 9/2. If you combined those two bets in a score-cast then we get very tempting odds of 22/1.
