West Ham vs Man Utd Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Predicted Score
Man Utd take on West Ham at Upton Park this evening. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, betting tips and predicted score for the game
Manchester United will look to climb above Manchester City in to the top four when they take on West Ham at Upton Park on Tuesday night.
Fourth-placed City were held to a 2-2 draw by Arsenal on Sunday afternoon so United sit just two points adrift in fifth with a game in hand following their narrow 1-0 win at Norwich City the previous day.
It means United’s top four fate is back in their own hands and Louis van Gaal’s men know victory tonight coupled with a win at home to Bournemouth on the final day of the season will guarantee at least fourth place and Champions League qualification.
However, that’s going to be no easy task as they’ll face a West Ham side who’ll be desperate to bid farewell to Upton Park on a positive note as they play their final game at the Boleyn ground before moving to the Olympic Stadium next season.
Slaven Bilic’s men slumped to a disappointing 4-1 home loss to Swansea at the weekend so the Hammers boss will be demanding a response from his players in order to give Upton Park the send off it deserves.
BACK MAN UTD TO FINISH IN THE TOP 4 AT CRAZY ODDS OF 10/1
Team news
United will be without Anthony Martial after he was ruled out with a hamstring injury that he picked up during the warm up at Carrow Road on Saturday.
Marouane Fellaini remains suspended and Matteo Darmian is out with an ankle injury but Daley Blind and Marcus Rashford should get recalls after not being risked at the weekend.
Morgan Schneiderlin will be hoping to start after not featuring recently but Bastian Schweinsteiger and Luke Shaw remain unavailable.
West Ham will be without Adrian so Darren Randolph will continue to deputise between the sticks.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
West Ham 1-2 Man Utd: West Ham were terrible at the back against Swansea and another showing like that will surely end in a similar result. United were pretty poor themselves at Norwich but as they’ve done countless times this season, they managed to dig deep and grind out a win and I have a feeling the visitors are going to edge this one tonight. A narrow 2-1 win will put United firmly in pole position to secure a top four place.

Betting Tips
Man Utd are the narrow 7/5 favourites and our prediction of 1-2 is available at odds of 17/2 while I also like the look of Rashford to open the scoring at 11/2. If you combined those two bets in a score-cast then we get very tempting odds of 30/1.
