50-Goal Striker Due To Undergo Man Utd Medical After Agreeing Personal Terms
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will undergo a medical with Manchester United after his participation at Euro 2016 after agreeing personal terms over a move to Old Trafford
The opening of the summer transfer window is fast approaching so we’ll bring you all the latest transfer rumours and gossip from around the globe. Today, Man Utd close in on Zlatan Ibrahimovic…
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will undergo his medical with Manchester United following his participation at Euro 2016 after agreeing personal terms over his move to Old Trafford, according to Sky Sports News.
Ibrahimovic’s future has become the topic of much speculation in recent weeks after he confirmed his decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expires at the end of this month.
United have widely been reported as leading the chase for his signature and it looks as though a deal is now on the cards as Sky Sports News are reporting that Ibrahimovic is due to undergo his medical with the club after Euro 2016.
The news outlet says that personal terms were agreed during meetings between the strikers agent Mino Raiola and United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward prior the tournament but there wasn’t enough time to complete a medical before Ibrahimovic flew-out to France with the Sweden squad.
Therefore, Sky Sports claim that United are now making plans for the 34-year-old to undergo his medical examinations later this summer once his participation at the Euro’s is over before he signs a lucrative one-year contract at Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic remains in excellent physical condition so the medical should be nothing more than a formality unless the striker suffers an injury whilst away on international duty this summer.
Assuming this proposed deal goes through, Ibrahimovic would become United’s second signing of the transfer market following the arrival of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal and he’d be a sensational coup for the club.
Despite his age, Ibrahimovic is still one of the best all-round strikers in the game today and scored an incredible 50 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions for PSG to help them win another domestic treble last season.
Jose Mourinho and Ibrahimovic know each other well having won the Champions League at Inter Milan back in 2010 and it looks like they are set to be reunited at Old Trafford this summer.

The so-called Special One could do with reinforcements in attack as United only managed 49 league goals all last season and Ibrahimovic should certainly add a real goal threat to their squad next season.
