Arsene Wenger has decided to recall Olivier Giroud to the starting eleven with Alexis Sanchez moving to the right-wing in order to fill-in for Theo Walcott – who misses the game due to injury.
Alex Iwobi keeps his place in attack as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain misses out with a hamstring problem while Francis Coquelin continues alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield with Aaron Ramsey returning to the bench after overcoming his own hamstring complaint.
Kieran Gibbs comes in to the back four with Nacho Monrea dropping to the bench while Gabriel continues alongside Laurent Koscielny with Shkodran Mustafi still out injured.
