Chelsea Team News: Conte Confirms Huge Injury Boost Ahead Of Crucial WBA Clash

Chelsea will look to wrap-up the Premier League title when they take on West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Friday night.

Ahead of the game, Antonio Conte has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s offered a team news and injury update.

The Blues boss was pleased to reveal he has a fully fit squad to choose from which means N’Golo Kante is now fit and available for selection tomorrow night.

The double Player of the Year winner missed Monday’s 3-0 win over Middlesbrough with a thigh injury but he’s been training this week and is now poised to return to the starting eleven at the Hawthorns.

Kante’s return will come as a boost for Chelsea as he’s been outstanding once again this season as the midfielder looks to secure his second consecutive title having lead Leicester to the trophy last season.

However, the Frenchman’s return gives Conte a selection dilemma as ordinarily Kante would come in to replace Cesc Fabregas but the Spaniard was outstanding during the win over ‘Boro earlier this week so it will be difficult to leave him out.

Chelsea head to the Midlands knowing a win will see them open up an unassailable 10-point lead over Tottenham so they’ll wrap-up the title with two games to spare.
