Tottenham Team News: Poch Confirms Double Injury Blow + Attacker Has Surgery
Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed a fresh double injury blow ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Leicester while an attacker has undergone surgery.
Tottenham will look to end the season on a positive note when they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Thursday night.
Ahead of the game, Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s given a team news and injury update.
Unfortunately Spurs have issues at right-back as the Argentinean coach has confirmed that Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier will both miss the Leicester game tomorrow.
Walker was brought on as a late substitute during Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Manchester United but the England international will miss the Foxes game due to an ankle injury.
The 26-year-old replaced Trippier at the weekend after he was involved in a head collision and Pochettino has confirmed the defender won’t be available tomorrow due to concussion.
Tottenham have also confirmed that Erik Lamela has undergone surgery on his troublesome hip injury as the attacker looks to get himself ready to return to action at the start of next season having been on the sidelines since October.

Danny Rose is also facing further time on the sidelines after the club announced yesterday that the full-back has undergone surgery on his left knee after the injury failed to heal properly.
Tottenham head in to the Leicester game tomorrow with little left to play for as they are guaranteed to finish the season in second position irrespective of what happens in their final two games.
