Agent Set For Talks As Attacker Looks To Push Through £48m Man Utd Move
Ivan Perisic’s agent is set to hold talks with Inter Milan chiefs as the attacker looks to try and push through his proposed move to Manchester United
Managers are now pressing ahead with their plans for the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, the latest on Man Utd’s move for Ivan Perisic…
Ivan Perisic’s agent is set to hold talks with Inter Milan chiefs as the attacker looks to try and push through his proposed move to Manchester United this summer, according to a report in the Express.
Jose Mourinho recently wrapped-up his third signing of the summer window with Nemanja Matic following Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku in making a move to Old Trafford.
However, the United boss is still hoping to bring in another attacker over the coming weeks as he looks to further strengthen his squad and Perisic has been widely touted to be Mourinho’s primary target.
Inter have proven difficult to negotiate with as they are reluctant to lose the Croatian international but the Express reported last week that they may be willing to do business if United put £48m on the table.
The newspaper says that Perisic is keen to move to Manchester and has already agreed personal terms with United so it’s just down to the two clubs to settle on a deal.
The Express are now citing a report from Tuttosport that claims the 28-year-old’s agent, Fali Ramadani, is set to meet with Inter officials to discuss the proposed move to United.
Perisic will supposedly reiterate his desire to leave and join Mourinho at Old Trafford but the report says that if Inter make it clear United have cooled their interest then he will demand an improved contract to stay at the San Siro.
We’ll have to await the outcome of the meeting to see where the proposed deal stands but I think Perisic would be an excellent addition to the United squad if they do end up buying the winger this summer.

He enjoyed a superb campaign last season after scoring 11 goals and setting up a further 12 for his team mates and he has the hard working attitude that Mourinho wants so I think Perisic would fit in well at Old Trafford.
