Stoke vs Man Utd Preview, Team News, Line-ups, Betting Tips & Prediction
Manchester United take on Stoke City at the Britannia tomorrow evening. Here is a preview with team news, line-ups, betting tips and predicted score
Manchester United will look to continue their faultless start to the new season when they take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday evening.
Jose Mourinho’s men sit top of the Premier League table after securing consecutive victories over West Ham, Swansea City and Leicester City so far this season.
United have registered 10 goals in their three games without conceding so Mourinho will be looking to extend that superb record with another win at Stoke tomorrow.
However, the Potters won’t be an easy task at the Britannia and Mark Hughes will be hoping to build on a solid start to the season that’s seen them take four points so far which included an impressive win over Arsenal.
Team news
United have no fresh injuries to contend with but Mourinho has said he’ll assess the fitness of his squad following their exploits during the international break.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo remain on the sidelines as they continue to work their way back to fitness following serious knee injuries.
Luke Shaw and Ashley Young have featured for the Under-23s recently as they look to step-up their returns from injury but this game will come too soon for the pair.
Stoke will be without skipper Ryan Shawcross due to a back injury so Kevin Wimmer could make his debut after completing a move from Tottenham last week.
Darren Fletcher should recover from a knee injury in time to face his former club but Maxim Choupo-Moting is a doubt after picking up a hamstring injury while on international duty.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
Stoke 1-2 Man Utd: The Potters have an excellent recent home record against United having not lost any of their last four meetings at the Britannia. However, the Red Devils have looked solid so far this season and I think the visitors will just about edge this one. But it won’t be easy.
