[Tweets] Martial Sends Message To Man Utd Fans After MOTM Display In League Cup

Anthony Martial is among the Manchester United players who have reacted on social media after the Red Devils eased in to the fourth round of the League Cup with a 4-1 win over Burton last night.

United opened the scoring early on after Marcus Rashford finished off a fine team move before doubling the hosts lead with another superb strike from outside the area.

Jesse Lingard made it 3-0 before half-time following some superb play from Martial and the French international capped a MOTM display by adding United’s fourth in the second half.

Burton grabbed a late consolation but United booked a trip to Swansea in the next round with a 4-1 win thanks largely to the brilliance of Martial and Rashford.

The young Frenchman has now taken to Twitter to send a message of thanks to the United fans for their support but says it’s now time to switch focus to their Premier League clash with Southampton on Saturday.

Ander Herrera, Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian all started against Burton last night and the trio have also posted messages on Twitter following another impressive victory.
