Manchester United will be looking to give their title chances a major boost when they take on rivals Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Here is the team I think Jose Mourinho will pick for the game:
Goalkeeper: David De Gea was given a rest in midweek so Sergio Romero will drop out this weekend despite impressing during the League Cup win over Swansea.
Defence: Eric Bailly could be back in the squad after recovering from a calf injury but it remains to be seen whether Mourinho feels he’s ready to start after almost a month out.
Phil Jones is expected to be declared fit so he could replace Victor Lindelof to start alongside Chris Smalling at the back with Antonio Valencia recalled at right-back.
It will be interesting to see who is picked at left-back with Matteo Darmian, Luke Shaw and Daley Blind all options but I think Mourinho may go for Ashley Young as he seems to have played his way back in to favour.
Midfield: United continue to have problems in midfield as Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini are still out while Michael Carrick is also expected to once again miss out against his former club.
Ander Herrera picked up a minor ankle problem at Swansea in midweek but the Spaniard should recover to line-up alongside Nemanja Matic against Tottenham.
Attack: Marcus Rashford is a doubt after sustaining a hamstring problem in midweek. The attacker did train today but Mourinho may not risk him from the start so Anthony Martial may be picked on the left side.
Romelu Lukaku is certain to get a recall up front after being given a breather on Tuesday night while Henrikh Mkhitaryan could also come back in to the attack.
Jesse Lingard may have played his way in to Mourinho’s first team plans after scoring both goals against Swansea but I think we’ll still see Juan Mata start in this game with Lingard on the bench.
Here is how we think United will line-up:
