[Video] South American Arrives To Undergo Tottenham Medical Ahead Of £25m Move
Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura has arrived in London to undergo his medical and complete a £25m move to Tottenham, according to Sky Sports News.
The January transfer window is coming to a close so clubs are working hard trying to strengthen their squads for the second half of the season and put deals in place for the summer. Today, Lucas Moura is set to join Spurs…
Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura has arrived in London to undergo his medical and complete a £25m move to Tottenham, according to Sky Sports News.
Moura was made available for transfer this month after failing to force his way in to Unai Emery’s side this season with the winger yet to start a Ligue 1 game this campaign.
The Brazilian international is behind the likes of Neymar, Julian Draxler, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria in the pecking order and PSG are keen to cash-in as they need to balance the books for Financial Fair Play.
Moura needs to regular first team football ahead of the World Cup finals and while he attracted interest from a host of clubs, Tottenham emerged as the front runners for his signature.
The Daily Mail reported late last week that Moura had agreed personal terms with Spurs over a four-and-a-half year contract after meeting Mauricio Pochettino and being shown around the clubs training facilities.
Sky Sports claim Spurs have now got a £25m deal in place with PSG and Moura is now in London to finalise his move after arriving in the capital via Eurostar last night.

The 25-year-old is at Tottenham’s training ground to undergo his medical this afternoon and barring any late problems, he should be unveiled as Tottenham’s first January signing well before the close of the window tomorrow night.

Moura’s career may have stalled this season but he has been capped 36 times for Brazil and has bags of potential so I think this could turn out to be a shrewd piece of business by Tottenham.
