Arsenal welcome Burnley to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon as Unai Emery looks to make it two wins from two games so far this season.
The Gunners kicked-off the new campaign with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring the only goal of the game.
It was a vital away win for Arsenal as they were woeful on the road last season and Emery will be desperate to pick up another three points against Burnley before the north Londoners head to European champions Liverpool next weekend.
However, Arsenal will be up against a Burnley side that should be in buoyant mood after they thrashed Southampton 3-0 on the opening weekend of the season so Sean Dyche will be quietly confident of taking home a positive result from the Emirates.
Arsenal will continue to be without Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding due to injury while it remains to be seen whether Mesut Ozil or Sead Kolasinac will be available after they missed the Newcastle game due to safety concerns following incidents at their home last week.
Alexandre Lacazette will be hoping to feature after overcoming an ankle injury while summer signings David Luiz, Dani Ceballos and Nicolas Pepe are pushing for starts.
Burnley are expected to name an unchanged line-up from the side that beat Southampton with Chris Wood continuing alongside Ashley Barnes in attack.
Betting tips & odds
If you plan to have a bet at a bookmaker or online casino then make sure you do your research and get the best odds possible as it may be hard to find real value in this game as Arsenal are the odds-on favourites to collect all three points.
Emery’s side showed real resilience in defence against Newcastle and they were formidable at home last season so with the firepower they have in attack, it’s difficult to see past a routine 2-0 Arsenal win this weekend.
The Gunners are 1/3 to win with many bookmakers you could go to a free spins no deposit casino and get more tempting odds than that so we’ll have to be creative with out bets. Burnley can be backed at odds of 8/1 while the draw is available at 9/2 but I don’t see past anything other than an Arsenal victory.
A 2-0 home win can be backed at 11/2 – which seems like a solid bet – but for even better odds we can add Aubameyang as first goalscorer for odds of 16/1. The Gabon hitman is one of the best strikers in the world so I fancy him to get on the scoresheet against Burnley.
